David D. Gossage, D.O.
Dr. David Gossage is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Comprehensive Ophthalmology including diseases and surgery of the eye. He is a Past-President of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Gossage is a Councilor Emeritus to the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Human Medicine. Dr. Gossage has been a Fellowship Director and Residency Director of Ophthalmology. He served on the Bureau of Federal Health and Council of Medical Education for the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gossage lectures at many National and International Meetings on cutting edge technology in ophthalmology as well as writing many publications in ophthalmology journals. He received numerous awards for his service to his specialty in ophthalmology as well as named America’s Top Ophthalmologist and Best Doctors in America. Dr. Gossage enjoys helping patients over the years to see better through medical and surgical options available.
Karen M. Luparello, D.O.
Dr. Karen Luparello is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology. She cares for pediatrics with strabismus, amblyopia and nasolacrimal duct disorders. Her practice also cares for adults with strabismus and double vision. After her General Ophthalmology residency, Dr. Luparello completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan.
She is presently a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Human Medicine. Dr. Luparello is also the Director of Medical Education at Hillsdale Hospital. She sits on many hospital committees and advocated for patient safety and quality care.
Brad Runyon, O.D.
Dr. Brad Runyon did his undergraduate studies at Ferris State University and is a proud 1996 graduate of Illinois College of Optometry. It was there that he studied general optometry with the emphasis on contact lenses and ocular health. Dr. Runyon has been in practice since 1996. The last 12 years working directly with ophthalmology, assisting in the case of post cataract patients including patients with ocular health conditions. During this time he was able to expand his knowledge of speciality contact lens fitting.
He is currently one of only a few optometrists certified to fit the Ampleye scleral contact lens, a contact designed to correct for keratoconus and irregular corneas. Dr. Runyon takes great pride and finds enjoyment in getting the best out of his patients vision with either spectacles or contact lenses.
